Summer Wedding

Hello my lovelies!  Where has the time gone?

The past few months have been a whirlwind as I had been travelling from one side of the world to the other for business and then coming back home to a busy schedule, helping the Mr. with some photography assignments (as an assistant!).  There's definitely no place like home.  It's also nice to see that some of you have been able to stop by despite my horrible lack of updates.:) (Which I thoroughly apologize for btw!)

A few weeks ago, I went to a wedding and wore this lovey mint green dress!  I didn't realize how wrinkly it would get though :( [Note to self: Use steamer when necessary!]  On a side note...I've been starting to play around with my camera and have decided to try and take my own blog pictures for OOTDs so please be patient as the lighting in my future posts may be a bit cray-cray as they say.  I'm definitely not a camera expert so it will take me a while to learn how to use AP etc.  I also need to find a decent place to take pictures instead of beside the washroom (as you can clearly see here, HA!)  Maybe soon I'll find the courage to take out my tripod, camera in hand and take some pictures outside.  Of course, I'll end up looking like the crazy lady who is frolicking by her lonesome taking weird pictures of herself but you only live once right? ;)

The weather is finally getting warmer here in Toronto and I cannot wait until I can take out my cute summer shorts and sandals.  Its still slightly chilly here in the mornings and I've had to wear my jacket out.

In other news, the next week I will be travelling to Germany (Hanover -> Munich) with my hubby for his work related business and then we will spend a few days in Munich exploring some of the sights.  The trip will be a short one but it will be nice to get away from the city still.  One of the places I am planning on visiting is the Neuschwanstein Castle which will be exciting!  I promise to take pictures this time and blog about it. :)  Once I get back I am also planning on getting back into my fitness routine.  I feel like the past few months have really made me become undisciplined with my fitness and healthy lifestyle.  (Aka. Mrs. Couch Potato! *hmpH*)  Its time I get myself ready for summer!  It feels good to be blogging again.. I've missed it!

 Every now and then a girl just needs a little pink and lace in her life.  Hence this outfit I put together :)  Its easy and can work both for the office and date nights with the hubby.  I absolutely love lace!  I just think it makes you feel feminine, elegant and pretty all at once.  This (much needed) long weekend, I'll be frolicking the streets of Chicago with close friends and the hubs.  How will you be spending the long weekend?  Ps. Happy birthday Canada!

Animal Instinct

I apologize for the big gap between posts.  My computer broke down on me and its currently sitting at the shop for repairs.  (And taking forever might I add!)  I'm currently using my hubby's computer to post this little update.  This past week being gorgeous, I decided to go to my dog's most favourite park.  Of course, my shoes may not have been the most practical but you can't blame a girl for her love of shoes!  Needless to say Coughs, short for Coffee, was all smiles and had a blast running around in the sunshine and freshly cut grass. :)  Oh! And please give a warm welcome to my very first (and quite possibly my last ever -- words from the hubby himself) Balenciaga ever!!  I'm in L-O-V-E!

Just Like Water

My very first blog entry.  Welcome to my photobook blog PINKSequence!  It will be filled with random little things and of course all things I love.  I hope you enjoy it.
Summer is in the air.  Can you feel it?
I hope the weather has been as fabulous for you as it has been for me this past week.
As spring is fading out and the summer heat is now slowly flowing in I thought what better way to get into beach mode then with this gorgeous, flowy skirt. 
The colour reminds me of the turquoise waters of the Riviera Maya, where I had visited just a few months ago.  Maybe post a few pictures of my mini vacay later?
Yes its quite sheer but paired with a long tunic or slip its perfect for these hot, humid days.

This weekend couldn't have been more relaxing yet super busy.
